Oil for wooden bodies. It is used to prevent the wood from drying out or cracking. A properly maintained body also improves sound quality, allowing for smooth airflow. The oil also forms a protective layer that prevents moisture from accumulating inside the instrument.
Note: It is important to oil your piccolo flute if it has not been played for a long time, or when the heating season begins - drier weather. If you are not sure how to do this, it is better to go to a master so that the flute does not crack or open like a book if it is over-oiled.
