Right hand thumb rest, shorter version.
Helps to establish correct hand position and balance so that no tension builds up in the wrist. Establishing the correct hand position can assist with intonation and overall flute tone, ensuring the flute is positioned parallel to the floor and is not angled too far inward or outward, which would compromise sound quality. These have a rubber coating, so they do not scratch the instrument and are non-slip.
They come in two types and various colors. The classic Thumbport covers almost the entire base and is more stable, while the Thumbport II is slightly shorter and suitable for all full-sized flutes.
